Thank you for showing interest in being a St. Ignatius CYO Coach. We appreciate all your time, effort, and work that you put into the program.
CYO Coaches Requirements
The United States Conference of Bishops' Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People mandates that every diocese implement Safe Environment programs for all children, parents, and adults. The principal purpose of this Charter is to ensure a safe environment for the children of each diocese.
Here in the Diocese of Allentown, a number of steps have been taken in order implement these guidelines pertaining to reconciliation, healing, accountability, and prevention of future acts of abuse.

Coaches and volunteers are required to complete a Coaches/Volunteer application. Forms should be returned to the St. Ignatius AD at: email@example.com. Applicants can use one form for multiple sports applications. All applications must be turned in by the dates below for consideration by the CYO board. Click Here for an application.
• Spring Sports (Track): January 31
• Fall Sports (Volleyball, Cross Country, Golf): June 30
• Winter Sports (Basketball, Cheerleading): August 31
Please complete all these forms and return them to the Athletic Director before coaching or volunteering.
Coaches are also required to complete the following forms and attend and/or complete the following clinics:
1. Coaches Clinic: required after the first year of coaching.
(Upon completion Coaches Clinic is a once and done workshop)

The $25 is refundable by our CYO.
2. Coaches Online Concussion Training (required once annually)
Go online (Click Here) and complete the 15 minute training video.
Print certificate and give a copy to the AD.
3. Sudden Cardiac Arrest Form(required once annually)
4. Coaches Code of Conduct (required once annually)
Please complete all forms and classes. Forms can be handed in to the Athletic Director.
